How to Delete Your Data

You can reset stored learning data inside the app, or request targeted deletion by email.

Option 1: Reset data in the app

1Open the PRAVIEL app.
2Go to Settings.
3Scroll to the Account section.
4Use Clear Activity Log to remove activity history.
5Use Reset Progress to clear course progress.
6Confirm when prompted.

Option 2: Request by email

Send an email to privacy@praviel.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. Specify which data categories you want removed.

Data You Can Delete While Keeping the Account

Depending on the feature, the following data can be reset or removed while the account itself stays active:

Learning progress and activity history
Saved lesson and exercise results
Reading progress, highlights, and notes, if any
Saved settings and preferences
Optional profile fields

Data Required for the Account to Function

Sign-in credentials and authentication metadata

Your sign-in credentials (email and password, or a linked Google, Apple, or Discord identity) and authentication metadata stay in place because they are required for sign-in and account security.

Data That May Still Be Retained

Aggregated, de‑identified analytics

If analytics are enabled, they may remain because they can no longer be linked back to you.

Encrypted backup copies

Backups may persist for up to 90 days while disaster-recovery retention windows expire.

What Happens Next

We may ask you to verify account ownership for security.
Your personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days of the request.
Some logs and backups may persist temporarily for security and disaster recovery.
